Investment company Azora has completed the acquisition of a 100 MW Cuevas de Velasco wind project located in Castilla-La Mancha from ABO Wind.
The facility consists of 19 GE158 5.5-MW wind turbines. ABO Wind will be developing the project that is set to be operational by 2022.
The wind project has secured the grid connection rights for the energy produced. The planned sites are almost completely secured. ABO Wind has submitted further applications to the Spanish authorities.
