Ayala divests 540 MW coal-fired power plant asset

The wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayala Corporation, AC Energy and Infrastructure Corp. has entered into an agreement with Power Partners for the sale of Ayala Group's equity interest in the 540 MW Kauswagan coal-fired power plant for at least US$453.24 million.

The project consists of four 138-MW Pulverized Coal Combustion thermal plants with Shanghai boilers and Siemens turbines and generators located in Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte. 

Power Partners is a partner of AC Energy in the development of the power plant.
