Axpo has signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Mirova Eolska and Uriel Renovables for two onshore wind farm projects with a combined installed capacity of around 165 MW in Poland. Both projects are under construction in Western Pomerania and Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Under the agreement, Axpo Polska will offtake all the electricity and Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) generated by two wind farms. Axpo will also provide balancing services and fixed price hedging for part of the wind farms’ production, as part of a pay-as-produced arrangement. In both cases, the PPAs cover the period from the commissioning of the projects until the end of 2024.
Located in Bialy Bór, Western Pomerania, the 144.9 MW wind farm will consist of 42 wind turbines (Vestas V126 - 3.45MW), producing an average of 364.1 GWh per year. The project is owned by Mirova Eolska and Uriel Renovables S.A. The 20.7 MW onshore wind facility is located in Dębnica Kaszubska, Pomeranian Voivodeship and will consist of six wind turbines (Vestas V126 - 3.45MW). The wind farm will produce an average of 61.4 GWh per year and is owned by majority shareholder Uriel Renovables S.A.
