Greencoat Renewables plc has finalized the acquisition of a 65.5 MW wind portfolio comprised of four wind projects in France from Axpo. The transaction, which was arranged earlier this year, closed for a high double-digit million Euro price.
The portfolio includes the wind farms Genonville (20.3 MW), Grande Pièce (19.8 MW), Arcy-Précy (16 MW), and Butte de Menonville (9.4 MW), with a total installed capacity of 65.5 MW. Developed and put into operation between 2017 and 2022, their combined average annual output is roughly 178,500 MWh.
Axpo has been active in the design, development, construction, and operation of wind farms in France and Germany since 2015.
