AXA, Ignis sign virtual PPA for 93 GWh solar PV project in Andalucia

AXA has announced the signing of a virtual power purchase agreement with Ignis which entails the purchase of 84 GWh annually, representing 90% of the output of the planned 93 GWh solar project in Andalucia, Spain. The 10-year deal will empower AXA to meet its clean energy objectives, signaling a shift in the company's power supply priorities.

Ignis is a global energy company with a primary focus on renewable energy and innovative energy solutions. The company was established in 2015 by a team of engineers and has since honed its business strategy toward the development of clean and competitive energy projects.

The solar farm will commence construction soon and is expected to be operating by May 2025.
