Avangrid has started the construction on 35,000 acres of state trust land for the development of the La Joya Wind Farm in Torrance County, New Mexico, in USA.
The project will be comprised of 111 wind turbines and have a total generating capacity of 306 MW.
Once commissioned, the power output of the La Joya Wind Farm project will be supplied to the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM).
