Avangrid Renewables has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) for the 150 MW Lund Hill solar photovoltaic project located in Klickitat County, Washington, USA.
The energy output of the solar farm will be available to customers that signed up for PSE’s Green Direct programme, which enables them to purchase energy from 100% renewable and local sources
The US$100 million project will be developed on a 1,800 acres (728.4 ha) of land leased from private citizens and the Washington Department of Natural Resources. The facility is expected to enter commercial operation by 2020.
