Avaada Group, a leading clean energy conglomerate, marked a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy landscape with two major projects in Rajasthan, inaugurated and blessed by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The first is the foundation stone laying of India’s largest 1560 MWp Solar plus 2500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Pugal, Bikaner, which will store solar energy to provide round-the-clock green power, enhancing grid reliability. The second is the inauguration of a 200 MW (282 MWp) solar power project at Shri Dungargarh, Bikaner, which will supply clean, affordable energy to Rajasthan’s discoms. Together, these projects represent an investment of over ₹9,200 crore (US$1 billion), utilizing Avaada Electro’s domestically manufactured TOPCon N-Type bifacial solar PV modules, aligning with India’s “Make in India” initiative.
Expected to create over 1,600 green jobs, reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 20 lakh tons annually, and conserve approximately 600 lakh liters of water yearly through robotic cleaning, these initiatives underscore Rajasthan’s role as a hub for India’s green energy revolution. Avaada’s commitment to sustainability, energy independence, and socio-economic development is further evidenced by its 2.2 GW operational renewable capacity in Rajasthan and a 5.7 GWp portfolio nationwide, contributing to India’s decarbonization and sustainable growth goals.
