Los Maitenes Solar SpA, a unit of Atria Energia, has secured the environmental approval for the development of the 66 MW solar photovoltaic facility in the Santiago Metropolitan Region of Chile.
The Chilean Environmental Assessment Service (SEA) has granted the Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA) for the planned development of the Pirque Solaris Photovoltaic Park.
The project will be built in about 97.52 hectares of land in the community of Pirque, province of Cordillera. The facility will consist of 160,160 monocrystalline modules with 415 W- 450 W capacities. The energy produced will be connected to the National Electric System of Chile.
