Spanish infrastructure investor Asterion Industrial Partners has acquired a stake in Revalue Energies, an Italian renewables developer, to support its expansion as an independent power producer (IPP).
Revalue is currently advancing a 2.7 GW portfolio of solar, wind, and energy storage projects across Italy and expects to complete the construction of 40 MW, supported by a 20-year tariff, within the coming year. The new partnership with Asterion will give Revalue the financial backing needed to fast-track its expansion and increase the scale of its activities. Asterion paid around EUR 50 million (USD 56.5m) to purchase an 80% stake in Revalue.
With Asterion's investment, Revalue plans to rapidly expand its project pipeline, targeting over 7 GW of renewable energy projects by 2030. The collaboration combines Revalue's industrial expertise with Asterion's financial resources and strategic vision, positioning Revalue to develop and manage large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.
