Argentina signs 13 MW biomass project as part of RenovAr 2 contracts

The Government of Argentina has signed the development contract of the13 MW Central Termica Kuera Santo Tome biomass project located in Corrientes. 

The project is the last project awarded in the country's renewable energy auction program RenovAr Round 2. It has signed a power purchase agreement with  Argentina's wholesale electric market management company CAMMESA. 

The Central Termica Kuera Santo Tome biomass project will utilize the forest residues from cultivated forests and by-products of the wood industry.
