JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd has commissioned the 80 MW Guanizuil 1 solar plant located in San Juan province, Argentina.
The facility is part of Argentina's RenovAr 1.5 renewable energy auction. It has a 20-year power purchase agreement deal with Argentina's wholesale electric market management company CAMMESA for US$54.10 per MWh. The facility has 287,080 solar panels that generate enough power for the consumption of 55,000 homes.
Construction of the second phase is underway.
