Arevon Asset Management has opened the 100 MW/400 MWh Saticoy battery energy storage system in Oxnard, Ventura County, California, US. The grid-scale battery energy storage facility would help reduce grid outages and deliver power during peak demand, eliminating air, water, or noise pollution.
The Saticoy battery energy storage project will supply electricity to Southern California Edison (SCE), under a 20-year purchase and sale agreement.
