Aquila European Renewable, an investment company managed by Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft, has completed the construction and started the commercial operation of the 50 MWp Guillena solar photovoltaic project located in Andalusia, Spain.

The facility is one of the two solar assets that are part of the Greco portfolio in southern Spain. Aquila closed the acquisition of the project in 2022.

Guillena entered into a seven-year pay-as-produced PPA at an attractive price with Statkraft Markets in December 2022, while hedging 60% of P50 production.
