Ameresco, Holy Cross Energy to build solar with energy storage project in Colorado

Ameresco Inc., in partnership with local utility Holy Cross Energy, is planning to install a 5 MW solar photovoltaic farm with a 15 MW battery energy storage project in Colorado. 

The project will be built on land leased from Colorado Mountain College at the Spring Valley Campus in Glenwood Springs. Ameresco will design, build, operate, and maintain the project. 

The construction of the project is expected to start in the first quarter of 2022.
