Ameren Missouri, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation, has announced that it has mutually agreed with EDF Renewables, Inc. to terminate the development of an up to 157 MW wind facility in Atchison County, Missouri.
Ameren Missouri remain committed to building an up-to 400 MW wind farm in Adair and Schuyler counties, for which a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) was approved in October 2018, and an up-to 300 MW facility in Atchison County, which is pending clearance from the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC). These wind facilities represent an investment of approximately US$1.2 billion.
Ameren Missouri has received the third and final phase of the expected regional transmission organization interconnection costs for both projects, which were in-line with expectations. Final interconnection agreements are expected this Fall.
