Scout Clean Energy and Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners had successfully completed the approval of all local permits for the Bitter Ridge wind project. The project has a capacity of 130 MW and it is located in Jay County, Indiana.
The government recently granted a 10-year tax abatement for the proposed project, which comprises the installation of a total of 59 wind turbines across and area of 12,000 acres.
After the project received approval for the development plan, it recently completed the road, drainage, decommissioning and economic development agreements.The project is expected to be operational in early 2020.
