Alerion Clean Power is set to acquire the 50 MW wind project operation in the municipality of Regalbuto in Sicily, Italy from its developer, Anemos Wind Srl.
Alerion offers EUR32.9 million (US$36.2 million) for the wind project including the consideration of around EUR29.4 million (US$32.15 million).
The project consists of 20 2.5-MW Nordex wind turbines that can generate up to 60 GWh of energy per year.
The deal is expected to close by the end of 2019.
