AES Gener has submitted an environmental impact statement for the development of a 114 MW located approximately 13 km west of the Los Ángeles commune, Biobío Region, Chile.
The project involves a total initiative investment of about US$154 million. With 19 units of 6 MW wind turbines, it is planned to be connected to the substation of the 73 MW Campo Lindo wind project. The company expects to start the construction of the 114 MW Don Alvaro wind project in October 2021.
