ADM signs PPA with Casa dos Ventos for 360 MW Babilonia Sul wind project

Archer Daniels Midland Co (ADM) has signed a 15-year off-take power purchase deal with Casa dos Ventos Energias Renovaveis for a portion of the energy produced from the 360 MW Babilonia Sul wind park located in the Bahia state of Brazil.

The wind farm will be located in the cities of Morro do Chapéu and Várzea Nova. The project will consist of 80 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines delivered in a 4.5 MW Power Optimized Mode. 

In October 2021, Unigel has signed a PPA from the Babilonia Sul wind farm project.
