Adani Transmission Limited (ATL), a subsidiary of Adani Group, has agreed to enter into an agreement with Essel Infraprojects Limited (EIL) to acquire the Warora-Kurnool Transmission Limited (WKTL) for INR33.7 billion (US$465.16 million).
Warora-Kurnool Transmission aims to develop, operate, and maintain a transmission system with a total of 1,750 ckt km in the states of Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, and a 765/400 kV substation at Warangal in India.
