Shapoorji Pallonji & Company and Mahalaxmi Konal Urja have won a contract to jointly develop an 80 MW Floating solar with 20 MW Hydropower plant project in Middle Vaitarna Damm, Maharashtra, India.
The project will deliver electricity to the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) at the price of INR4.75 (US$0.7) per kWh for 25 years.
The project is expected to take 31 months to be complete and generate up to 208 million kWh annually.
