Adani Group's green energy firm Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) has been in advanced discussions for the acquisition of stakes in the 250 MW photovoltaic solar park located in Bhadla, Jodhpur district, Rajasthan, India. The project is owned by Hero Future Energies Pvt Ltd (HFE).
The asset has been signed for a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of INR2.53 / kWh (US$0.034 / kWh).
Aside from AGEL transaction, HFE has previously sold 49% of the solar farm to local renewables platform O2 Power.
