The 140 MW Whyalla solar park, Adani Group’s first one in South Australia, has been granted pre-construction permit. The company is in the process of finalizing commercial negotiations with customers and expects to take a final investment decision by the end of September 2018.
The 140 MW solar farm with potential capacity of up to 150 MW has an expected output of 300,000 MWh and an option to add battery storage capacity. The solar generated electricity will be fed into the ElectraNet network.
