ACEN Corp. has received approval from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to acquire eight operating wind power projects in Texas, USA. Under the deal, ACEN's joint venture company, UPC Power Solutions LLC, will buy 136 MW of wind assets from GlidePath Power Solutions LLC.
ACEN currently owns 4,000 MW of capacity attributable to owned facilities in Australia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with renewables accounting for 98% of that capacity, one of the highest percentages in the region.
