The City of Jacksonville in Florida has received nine bids for the privatization of the community-owned Jacksonville Electric Authority.
The accepted bidders are:
JEA is the eighth-largest community-owned electric utility company in the United States and the largest in Florida. It operates in the water, sewer, and electricity system.
The transaction information was not disclosed.
