7X Energy Inc has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) deal for the remaining power of the 690 MWp Taygete Energy Project with two large unnamed corporate entities in SolarBlocks, a product offered by 7X Energy.
The Taygete solar photovoltaic project is located in Pecos County, Texas, USA. The US$650 million project will be constructed in two phases. The construction of the first phase is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2019 and the second phase in the first quarter of 2020.
Once completed, the facility will be the largest solar project in Texas and the fifth largest solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the United States.
