50 MW wind project plans approved by Shetland Islands Council

Shetland Islands Council has given its approval for the construction of 50 MW Mossy Hill Wind Farm project by Peel Energy.

The wind farm will have 12 turbines with maximum tip heights of 145 meters between Lerwick and Scalloway.

The project will have a useful life of 25 years.
