Red Rock Power gets NatWest financing for 50 MW wind project in Scotland

National Westminster Bank, known as NatWest, has extended GBP80 million (US$103.3 million) in debt to 50 MW wind farm near New Cumnock in Ayrshire, south-west Scotland.

Red Rock, which is owned by SDIC Power, acquired the scheme from InfraRed Capital on October 2018.

The Afton wind park consists of 25 Siemens Gamesa turbines of 2 MW each, and its output is being sold under a 15-year power purchase agreement with Centrica Group.
