A consortium consisting of Energiefonds Overijssel, Blauwvinger Energie, and a private investor - supported by financing from ASN Groenprojectenfonds - has acquired the shares in the 27.4 MW Bomhofsplas solar project. The consortium will take over the shares of GroenLeven, the developer of the solar park.
The purchase of the floating solar park has been completed and the facility has been connected to the electricity grid.
The park provides green energy for about 72,000 households in Zwolle and with its more than 18 hectares and 72,000 panels, it is the largest floating solar energy installation in Europe and the largest outside China worldwide.
