Trina Solar Co Ltd has announced that a 100 MW agricultural solar park in China has started generating power.
Situated in a 160-hectare (395.4 acres) area in Luotian County, Hubei province, the photovoltaic (PV) plant is expected to generate 110 million kWh of electricity per year while minimizing 104,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The solar farm utilizes Trina Solar's 210 Vertex 550W series combined with Huawei inverters.
