Sungrow to supply inverters for 814 MW solar PV project in Qatar

Sungrow has signed a contract with Samsung C&T's Engineering & Construction Group to supply its MV-integrated 1500V string inverter solution SG320HX to an 814 MWac PV project in Qatar.

The PV farm can generate around 1,800 GWh of renewable electricity annually and eliminate 900 thousand tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The project is anticipated to be completed by 2024, and will become the largest solar plant in the country which will boost local green energy and offset oil and gas emissions, aiding the low-carbon transition.
