Nordex receives orders in Germany totalling 150 MW

Since the beginning of 2016, Nordex has received eleven orders in Germany for 50 turbines totaling 150 MW. These machines will be supplied with rotor diameters of 117 meters and 131 meters on hybrid towers, with hub heights of 134 meters and 140 meters. All orders include premium service contracts for a period of 15 years. 

Nordex will supply among others the following wind farms:

In Hesse ,the company will install 9 turbines N117/2400 in the  21.6 MW Schwarzenberg wind farm for the Biedenkopf municipal utility and the municipality of Breidenbach. This wind farm has been developed by EAM Natur GmbH. 

Nordex will equip the 16.8 MW Gemünden wind farm with 7 turbines N117/2400 for the Verbands-Energie-Werk Gesellschaft für Erneuerbare Energien mbH.

The 21.6 MW Alsfeld-Lingelbach project is also located in Hesse. For this wind farm, Nordex will be supplying Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. with 9 turbines N117/2400. Thüga Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. is a joint venture of 46 municipal utilities and regional power suppliers in the Thüga Group, with which Nordex has already successfully implemented several wind farms.

The manufacturer will supply a further 7 turbines N117/2400 to e-wikom, a project developer. The installation of these turbines in the 16.8 MW Petkus wind farm in Brandenburg is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016.

15 turbines with a 131 meters rotor diameter are being delivered by Nordex for two projects to regular customers. For the project developer ABO Wind AG, 10 turbines N131/3300 are to be installed in the 33 MW Uckley wind farm in Brandenburg. Another 5 turbines N131/3000 will go to a 15 MW wind farm in North-Rhine Westphalia for BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH.
