Company description
Thistle Wind Partners (TWP) is a joint venture between DEME, Qair and Aspiravi working to develop two offshore wind projects off the coast of Scotland with a combined capacity of 2GW. Operating from offices in Edinburgh, TWP is developing a mix of floating and fixed-foundation projects after successfully securing rights to almost 400km2 of seabed under the ScotWind leasing round in 2022. Currently in development are the Ayre Offshore Wind Farm, a 1GW floating-foundation project located to the east of Orkney, and the Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm, a 1GW fixed-foundation project off the coast of Aberdeenshire.
