SMFG is one of three mega-bank groups in Japan, with consolidated total assets amounting to JPY183 trillion as of March 2015. The group offers securities, credit cards, leasing and consumer finance services. SMFG has more than 68,000 employees worldwide and owns subsidiaries in many countries and regions.
