Salzgitter AG is a leading German steel and technology company, headquartered in Lower Saxony. It’s one of Europe's largest steel producers, with an annual crude steel capacity of around 7 million tonnes, generating approximately €10.8 billion in revenue in 2023 and employing over 25,000 people across more than 150 subsidiaries in 35 countries. The Group produces a broad range of steel products, including hot‑rolled strips, cold‑rolled sheets, tubes, and structural steels. It also has interests in machinery and plant engineering, and holds a nearly 30% stake in Aurubis, Europe's largest copper producer and recycler.
