Nama Power and Water Procurement Company (Nama PWP), previously known as the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP), is a member of the Nama Group. It is the sole buyer of electricity and water output from all independent power and water producers in Oman. Nama PWP is responsible for procuring new electricity and water generation capacity, ensuring a balance between supply and demand, and promoting the development of renewable energy projects.
