Capstone Infrastructure Corporation is an independent, pure-play power producer focused on providing clean, renewable energy to homes and businesses across North America. Capstone currently develops, owns and operates thermal and renewable power generation facilities with a total installed capacity of more than 775 MW. The company owns and operates 30 power facilities in five provinces across Canada that, together, generate approximately 1,500 GWh of electricity, or enough to power the equivalent of about 150,000 households annually.
The company was formerly known as Macquarie Power and Infrastructure Corporation and changed its name to Capstone Infrastructure Corporation in April 2011.
