French solar-plus-storage projects developer ZE Energy has closed asset financing for a utility-scale, ground-mounted 77 MWp photovoltaic plant with a lithium-ion battery storage system with a 14.8 MW / 33.5 MWh capacity in Vert (Landes), France.
The funds were arranged with asset manager Sienna Investment Managers (IM) under its fund Predirec ENR 2. The Vert hybrid park has a power purchase agreement (PPA) with French telecommunications giant Orange SA. BCLP served as the lender’s legal advisor. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to be connected to the Enedis grid in early 2025.
