German renewables developer Wpd AG has partnered with Triconti ECC Renewables Corp to build a 75.6 MW wind farm project in the Philippines.
Named as Aklan project, it will be built on the north-western tip of Panay Island. The facility consists of 18 Vestas V136 4.2-MW wind turbines and a new substation.
The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2023.
