Washington Governor approves Five-Site Columbia solar project

Columbia Solar Project, an alternative energy proposal by TUUSSO Energy, LLC (TUUSSO) got its approval from Gov. Jay Inslee, D-Wash. A letter approving the site certification agreements has been issued. The project is located in Kittitas County, Washington.

The five solar arrays and two generation tie lines would be constructed on 200 of approximately 232 leased acres. Five facilities would be constructed at five different site locations namely in Camas, Fumaria, Penstemon, Typha and Utica.

Two generation tie lines would also be constructed and each PV solar array would be sufficient enough to provide up to 5 MW of solar energy within the Puget Sound Energy (PSE) service area, bringing a total power generation of 25MWac.
