Vestas has received an order to supply EnVentus turbines to the 102 MW Närpiö Norrskogen project. Located in Närpiö, near Vaasa in the Western Finland region, the onshore wind farm is developed by EPV Energy Ltd.
Vestas will supply, install and commission 17 V162-6.0MW turbines at the project. The project has a total investment of more than EUR100 million (US$118.64 million), and its annual output is over 300,000 MWh of electricity.
Vestas will provide service through a long-term Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the period of 30 years. Turbine deliveries are expected in the second quarter of 2022, with full commissioning of the project by the end of 2022.
