Vestas Wind Systems is set to build the 48 MW wind park located in Puerto Plata region, the Dominican Republic under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) deal from RGE.
Vestas will use 16 units of its V136-3.45 MW turbines in 3.0 MW Load Optimised Mode for the project.
Vestas will start the shipment of the machines in the first quarter of 2019 with an aimed commissioning of the plant by the third quarter of 2018. The deal also includes a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement.
