Vestas has announced receiving 288 MW turbine orders for two undisclosed wind projects in the US. The order comprises a total of 64 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, with 30 turbines allocated for one project and 34 turbines for the other.
Under the terms of the agreement, Vestas will be responsible for the supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines. To ensure optimal performance of the wind farms, the order also includes a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
The delivery of the turbines is expected to commence in Q2 of 2024, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 of the same year.
The customer and specific wind farm locations remain undisclosed.
