Vestas has secured a 32 MW order for the Le Haut Plateau wind project owned by Elicio, in France. The contract includes the supply and installation of nine V136-3.45 MW wind turbines delivered in 3.6 Power Optimised Mode, as well as an Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for at least the next 20 years.
Turbine delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2021, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of the same year.
Since the installation of its first turbine in France in 1991, Vestas has led the country’s wind industry with over 5.1 GW capacity installed and over 2,300 wind turbines. Last year, Vestas secured a 40 percent market share, placing the company as the main contributor to the expansion of wind energy in France.
