Vast Solar has planned to develop a 50 MW North West Queensland Hybrid Power Project located in Mount Isa, in North West Queensland, Australia.
The AUD600 million (US$428.76 million) project is a combination of Concentrated, Photovoltaic, battery storage, and gas engines with solar-thermal power technology using mirrors and receiving towers.
The construction is expected to start in the first half of 2021 and takes about two years to be operational.
