Prairieland Energy Inc (PEI), a University of Illinois-related organization, has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Capital Dynamics and Sol Systems for the energy produced of the planned 12.1 MW solar photovoltaic project.
The solar PV plant will be developed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The plant is expected to generate up to 20 GWh of energy per year once commissioned.
