EPH has entered into negotiation with Uniper for the purchase of about 2.3 GW renewable energy portfolio in France.

Uniper’s French portfolio includes two 400 MW gas-fired plants, two 600 MW coal-fired plants, a 150 MW biomass plant and around 100 MW of wind and solar generation.

Total has initially agreed to acquire two of the French gas-fired power plants in the portfolio in 2020.
