Trina Solar has announced that it has been contracted to providing 258 MW monocrystalline PERC double glass modules for a solar photovoltaic (PV) power station in Vietnam. The development of the power station is funded by investment from leading Vietnamese investment firm Trung Nam Group, making it the largest private solar PV project in Vietnam.
With investment totaling around US$220 million, the power station will span 264 hectares in Phan Rang-Thap Cham, capital of Ninh Thuan Province, in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. Construction is scheduled to be completed by 30 June 2019.
