Trung Nam Solar Power JSC, a unit of Trung Nam Group is set to commence the construction of the 204 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam.
The company will spend almost VND 5 trillion (USD 216.7m) to develop the project which is expected to start its commercial operation by 2019.
The solar project will sell its power output to Electricity of Vietnam’s (EVN) Electric Power Trading Company (EPTC) under a power purchase agreement (PPA) for VND 2,086 per kWh (USD0.08980 per kWh). The facility can generate up to 450 million kWh of electricity per year.
